Developed Mi Mall, a flagship mobile application serving 500K+ visitors at Costanera Center (Latin America's tallest skyscraper), integrating multi-industry services including retail POS systems, food ordering platforms, attraction ticketing (Mirador Observatory), and smart parking solutions (AutoPass/AutoScan).

Architected event-driven microservices infrastructure to synchronize 15+ backend systems, achieving 99.8% uptime while processing peak loads of 5K concurrent transactions during high-traffic events.

- Key achievements
  • Implemented new strategies to support large amounts of notifications to users, from 45K per day to 65K in the same amount of time without scaling up
  • Provided support and developed new modules like Stores Search for Mi Mall mobile app using Ionic (React). This module (backend/frontend) will not only allow full-text based searches but also semantic search using customer intentions. By the end this new feature was able to recommend products, services and food stores
